Dress from the personal estate collection of Frank Savage.

Documented and Tagged La Mednola Dress. Printed with Roman Faces. Comes with original matching signed silk scarf as well as two of the most amazing Mendola belts I have seen to date. Please note there is a bit of a run in the fabric at the neckline.

Jack Savage with his partner Mike Mendola, founded "La Mendola" in the 1960's. La Mendola, one of Rome's most chic boutiques of its time, was located at the top of the Spanish Steps in the Pizza TrinitaDe Monita, a 17th century palace.

Famous clients included Elizabeth Taylor, Natalie Wood, Loretta Young and MANY others.

This dress is measured flat and in inches. In good wearable condition. Marked a size 16, fits smaller.


Please note there is a small pull in the fabric at the v neck and the silk scarf is a touch stiff in my opinion and could benefit from a gentle dry cleaning.
