Antique Lao Dok Phikoun flower cannetille traditional necklace in solid nearly pure silver. These necklaces were make using a higher than .925 grade.
Traditional Laotian jewelry is collectable and unique to Laos. The procedure to make these pieces is intricate and can take weeks. Every little flower and ball is individually handmade, and soldered to form the traditional Dok Phikoun flower.
This piece is just lovely, and is a gorgeous piece of Laotian history. In fantastic vintage condition with original clasp. I have left it unpolished. You could shine it up if you wanted but it is beautiful with the light patina!
The necklace is slightly over 15 inches long, it fits as a comfortable not too tight choker style necklace. ( I couldn't resist wearing it! Its light and comfortable to wear.)
