De Passille - Sylvestre 1970's Enamel Belt Buckle And Leather Belt.
Micheline De Passille and Yves Sylvestre begun their work together in 1959. Yves doing the metal work and Micheline the designs. Highly collectable now they ran productions of their works from the 1960's to the 1980's when they closed.
These works are considered the best of the Quebec Enamel Movement. The works are modernist and truly wearable art.
Currently this large belt measures for a 33 to 39 inch waist. You can make this belt smaller by lifting the clamp and cutting it to your specific size. Just make sure to cut the opposite side of the rivets.
Both belt and buckle are signed. In beautiful vintage condition (used and not new)
